Campaign Manager
Outbrain is seeking Campaign Managers in New York, San Francisco and Chicago that will play a key role helping to grow our business. The Account Manager will work closely with Sales and Business Development, as well as liaise with the R&D team, to support and engage the advertising partners.

- Sell multiple products to a given customer by weaving through large organizations to find the right stakeholders for each product without confusing overall product messaging.
- Work closely with the VP of Business Development – Hispanic Markets to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals. Liaise with Client Services/Account Managers to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation of our widgets or technology.
- Pipeline management; accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
- Provide input to product management teams on features that would provide partners additional value.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of digital technologies/site monetization and ability to explain product benefits in detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and sales skills. Excellent relationship building abilities and experience in contract negotiations.
- Experience selling traffic acquisition programs to online publishers a significant plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English.
- Experience in structuring and negotiating deals for an Internet company or deals where an online component and revenue was central.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends in data and in generated reports.
- US and international travel as needed to meet prospects and clients and to attend trade shows.
- Contacts with interactive publishing (media, newspaper, magazine) decision makers a plus.
- BA/BS degree, MBA preferred.

Outbrain is seeking an experienced Sales Planner to work with the Publisher Sales and Brand/Agency Sales groups to identify potential prospects and assist with the presales process. Outbrain currently powers content recommendations on premium sites like USATODAY, Tribune, Slate, Newsweek, iVillage and more, along with tens of thousands of blogs. The Sales Planner will be expected to identify as-yet unidentified publishers and brands to assist our Business Development group to form similar partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and have a passion for digital publishing. The sales planner will conduct thorough research on the publisher landscape and identify prospects who could both benefit from and financially afford a traffic acquisition campaign. Work with brands and agencies will be similar. The deliverable will include a daily prospect list that includes contact information for the appropriate stakeholder(s), along with reasoning behind the inclusion of each prospect on the list.
The Sales Planner will keep abreast of digital publishing trends and understand the potential competitive threats to Outbrain’s products (e.g. competitors, substitute products, etc). Finally, the sales planner will follow up internally with each business development person to learn the outcome of each prospect and the reasons why a deal was or was not reached.

Account Manager, Partner Development
Outbrain is currently hiring an Account Manager of Partner Development for its San Francisco location.
Outbrain is seeking an Account Manager who will work closely with Business Development as well as liaise with the Research & Development team to support top tier publishers and partners within the Outbrain network. This position comes with the opportunity for tight collaboration with elite publishers to help implement, launch and optimize the Outbrain content recommendations widgets on their sites. The position will also focus on growing existing relationships by up-selling new initiatives to publishers and maintaining and growing the metrics on their sites.
Qualifications
- Combination of experience, technical know-how and passion for online publishing and blogging
- Ability to interface with clients both remotely and face-to-face to provide timely, consistent and accurate support and account management
- Possess the technical aptitude and desire to learn the intricacies of the Outbrain system and to leverage that knowledge to help clients with support issues
- Analytical ability necessary to monitor and identify trends in performance metrics and data
