What b5media and Ouriel Ohayon have in common?

Not that there hasn't been some major issues around the world lately that have captured our attention, heck our new office is one block from Wall Street, but there have been two important developments here at outbrain that are quite interesting and seemingly related.  First you may have seen announcements on blogs like CenterNetworks, Inquisitr and others about b5media choosing outbrain to power its content ratings and recommendations network wide.  Ok so this is cool and they have been a tremendous group to work with, but its the outbrain generated traffic that is worth noting.  Big publishers like b5media want to see lifts in pageviews and new traffic from widgets that syndicate links, and that's exactly what we are delivering.  Second Ouriel Ohayon let a post go that said outbrain was in the top 20 on his blog's log file for sending traffic.  Here at outbrain, this is what makes all the hard work worth it.  Full disclosure Ouriel is involved with Outbrain but he gets no favors here regarding his blog's content, his audiences' ratings and link syndication.  So both of these seemingly unrelated events with b5media and Ouriel point to exactly what we are doing - and that is to delight readers with the best possible recommendations while at the same time sending great blogs like the ones over at b5media and Ouriel's blog some new readers.  So if you see outbrain rising on your log file, know its what we are working on every day and if you want to drop us a note please do.  No matter what the markets do, climbing higher on bloggers' log files will always put a smile on our face.
